Täna tahaksin rääkida oma shopingutest SEPHORA ja KIKO poekestes :)

Today I would like to talk about my little shopping trip in the SEPHORA and KIKO stores :)

Nimelt, oli meil võimalus vahepeal külastada Cannes'i kus toimus L'Oréal Professionnel pisikene Business Forum, nii 2200 osalejaga.
Selle toreda ürituse raames oli kindel soov jõuda ka linna peale kosmeetikat hankima :) Nagu ühele õigele kosmeetika junkie'le ikka kohane :D
Sisetunne, et igas euroopa linnakeses (välja arvatud Tallinn) võib leida SEPHORA poekese, ei vedanud alt.
Paljude põnevate brändide ja toodete seast valisin välja kõvasti reklaamitud Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (väidetavalt pakub see toode päris palju, lisaks intrigeerivale nimele).
Minitootena korra juba proovitud Smashbox Photo Finish Primer'i, mida kindlasti tahtsin saada täissuuruses, sest ta lihtsalt on NII HEA! Ostukorvi rändas ka Urban Decay Primer Potion ja Benefit'i PoreFessional. Siis võtsin veel SEPHORA enda toodetud pisikese primer'i proovimiseks, terve hulga minipakendis niiskeid salvrätikuid (sest kõik, mis on mini on nii nunnu :D ), SEPHORA mini ripsmetušše ja hulga näomaske. Maskid, tuššid ja salvrätikud võtsin kõik kingituseks tüdrukutele salongis, sest arvan, et selline tava tööreisilt kõigile midagi kaasa võtta on väga armas. Mulle endale kindlasti meeldiks, kui nii tehakse.

We had a great opputunity to visit Cannes, where we attended the L´Oréal Business Forum, among about 2200 other hair stylist from around the world.
During this nice event, I had a set goal to look around town and get some beauty products :) As any other makeup junkie would do :D
A little voice in me was saying that there must be a SEPHORA store in Cannes´. As there is in any other city in Europe (exept for Tallinn). And I was right!
Among many other exciting brands and products, I picked out the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, which has been a hot topic among beauty bloggers for a while now. Smashbox Photo Finish Primer (which I had tested as a little sample already, and just had to get the full size! Because it´s just that good!!) I also picked up Urban Decay Primer Potion and Benefit PoreFessional. I also got some items from the SEPHORA brand: a mini primer, a bunch of mini facial wet wipes (because everything in travel size is just so dang cute :D) Some SEPHORA travel size mascaras and some face masks, The masks, mascaras and wipes, I took as a little gift for the girls back in the salon, because i thought they were a perfect gift to bring back from a business trip. I would surely appreciate a gesture like that.

Kaasa sain ka proovimiseks MakeUP Forever HD puudri. Selle üle on küll väga hea meel, sest pole saanudki seda varem proovida.

Teine tähtis eesmärk Prantsusmaal olles, oli saada omale Embryolisse niisutav kreem.

At the checkout they gave some samples for the purchase as well. I received a MakeUP Forever HD loose powder. I have never tried it before, so that made very happy.

The other thing, I just had to find, while I was in France, was the Embryolisse moisturizing cream.

Sügise saabumisega ja paljude toodete katsetamisega on mul näonahk kohati ülikuivaks ja kestendavaks muutunud. Sellepärast tahtsin seda kreemi kindlasti proovida. Igal pool internetis on palju väga häid kommentare selle niisutavate omadusete kohta jagatud, ning kui lisada juurde et pidi olema kohati rakesti kättesaadav, siis kindlasti pidin selle leidma. Jaht ise on ju ka põnev ;) Kuna millegipärast tänavate peal silte ei ole, et "..see toode siin müügil" siis tuli guugeldada netis, et kus siis sellised toredad kreemid ennast peidavad. Selgus tõsiasi, et prantsuse apteegid on palju muud, kui pelgalt koht, kus oma rohud kätte saada. Neil on seal müügil pea kõike! Just nii kõikvõimas guugel täpselt ütleski. Selle peale kohe hotelli kõrval, esimesse apteeki sisse astudes, oligi kohe olemas. Müüa veel küsis, et olete kindel, et soovite seda kreemi, meil nii palju muid häid asju ja see konkreetselt on ikka väga rikkalik, Selle peale kergitasin suure vaeva ja kärinaga oma kulme, nii et parkunud nahalt lendas ebemeid ning teatasin, et mul päris kuiv ja kestendav nahk praegu- olen kindel...
Lisan siia juurde ka pildi oma kuivast nahast... annan kindlasti teada, kuidas niisutav kreem toimib... Ehmatuseks valmis?

With the arrival of the fall season and testing out many products, as I have, my skin has become extremely dry and flaky. That´s why I was very keen on trying out that moisturizing cream. It has some very good reviews online about it´s high moisturizing ability and if You add the fact that it is not very easy to get your hands on... gave me the drive to go out and find it.
It´s all about the hunt, you know  :D
Since for whatever reason, there are no signs on the streets with: "... on sale here." I had to google it, to find out where they sell those babys.
As it turns out, the pharmacys in France offer a lot more than just pills and medicine. They sell almost everything there! It´s exactly what almighty google said. So, I walked in to the very first pharmacy I saw,next to the hotel and there it was. The lady at the counter asked if I was sure I would like that product, since it is very rich and they have many other nice products there. On that note, I raised my crusty eyebrow (with a lot of effort, I might add), with flakes of skin flying off and replied: "My skin is quite dry and flaky at the moment... Yes, I´m sure."
I will add below a picture of the skin situation at this moment... I will give You an update later on, how the cream is working.

Ost tehtud, sain esimesel päeval kohe ka ära proovida, ning juba tunne nahal oli palju parem. Ja mis peamine, õhtusel üritusel ei vaadanud pildi pealt ka enam krokodill vastu... või nii mulle näis vähemalt ;)

Jalutades linna peal, jäi silma ka KIKO kauplus, ning varasemalt olen internetis veidi uurinud juba nende tooteid. Sisse astudes lõi silme eest kirjuks ja olin päris kindel, et tühjade kätega sealt juba välja ei astu...

Haarasin uuest sügisesest kollektsiooniset kaasa bronzeri ja highlighteri komplekti, mitmes eri värvis ripsmetušše (nende pigment oli lihtsalt nii meeletult hea, et ei suutnd vastu panna), ripsmete top coat, ehk siis sädelev ripsmetušš ning mitmed lainerid. Oleksin hea meelega ka mõne jumestuskreemi haaranud, aga lihtsalt ei suutnud valikut teha. Kõige toredam selle ostlemise juures oli, et hinnad olid rohkemgi kui mõistlikud.

Kogu shopingu kokkuvõtteks võiks öelda, et Prantsusmaal on nii tore shopata. Pidev bonjour ja merci ja ulalla tekitas nii hea tunde. Kui üks märatsev kioski müüa välja arvata, kes oma leti taga laamendama hakkas, siis jättis sealne rahvas väga viisaka, armsa ja sooja tunde. :)

Kaasa haaratud toodetest räägime lähemalt arvatavasti tulevastes blogi postitustes, kui olen saanud nendega veidi lähemalt tutvuda. Kui keegi on mõne tootega juba rohkem kursis, millest siin rääkisin, siis kindlasti jaga oma kogemusi kommentaarides.

With my purchase done, I got a chance to use it right on the first day and my skin felt
already a lot better. And most importantly, on the evening event, I did not look like crocodile anymore... or so it seemed to me at least ;)
Walking around town, I noticed also a KIKO store. I have noticed their products earlier online and decided to step in to the shop. As I walked in... everything went dark, and I was sure I could not walk out empty handed... :D
From their new fall collection, I picked out a bronzer and highlight duo, several different coloured mascaras (their pigment was so good, I could not resist), a lash top coat with sparkles and different eyeliners. I would have also liked to get a foundation, but I just could not choose. The most enjoyable thing about this shopping spree was that the prices were more than reasonable.
In conclusion I would like to say that shopping in France was very nice. The constant bonjour and merci and ulalla gave such a warm and welcoming feeling. If ecxept for a raging old man, shaking his counter at a kiosk, I had a very pleasant impression of the local people, who were very welcoming and nice towards non french speaking tourists.:)
Probably I will speak about those products I picked up more in depth, in later blog posts, When I have had time to play around with them a little more. If You have some impressions to share, feel free to do that in our comments section. ;)
